Job Description
Thrive Counselling is seeking a Supervised Parenting Time Program Coordinator (Contract) to provide coordination and leadership for the Supervised Parenting Time Program and Family Visiting Centres. This position is based in Halton Region and reports directly to the Executive Director.
Position Overview
The Supervised Parenting Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination, oversight, and administration of the program. This role includes direct client intake, supervision of Family Workers, support for program operations, and ensuring services are delivered in a professional, effective, and client-centered manner.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Supervised Parenting Time Program.
Manage administrative functions including client files, statistics, time-keeping, fee tracking, outcome measurement, and related documentation.
Review and audit client contact notes to ensure quality and consistency.
Prepare monthly program statistics, court letters, annual reports, service plans, and other required documentation.
Complete reporting requirements to MCCSS.
Provide supervision and support to Family Workers.
Qualifications
BSW or equivalent education.
Strong knowledge of custody and access matters and family violence issues.
Experience in litigated divorce or child welfare settings is an asset.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to learn and use database systems such as Caseworks.
Successful completion of a vulnerable sector screening.
Compensation and Term
Salary: $35/hour
Term: 6 month contract (may be extended)
Hours: 21hours per week virtual/hybrid
