Human resource co - op student

We have opening for a Human Resources Co-op Student.

The Human Resources Co-op will gain exposure to a broad range of HR functions including recruitment, HR administration, talent initiatives, and special projects.

Responsibilities:

Supporting full cycle recruitment including: - Drafting and posting job advertisements across platforms. - Screening resumes and assisting with initial candidate prescreening. - Coordinating interviews - Maintaining accurate recruitment trackers and candidate records.
Assisting with offer letter preparation and pre-employment documentation.
Supporting onboarding to ensure a smooth new hire experience
Assisting with HR reporting and recruitment metrics.
Preparing standard employment letters and HR documentation.
Ensuring strict confidentiality and accuracy in all employee data handling.
Assisting with coordination of engagement initiatives and internal communications.
Supporting culture-building and employee experience activities.
Contribute ideas to enhance employee engagement efforts.
Supporting HR audits and compliance reviews.
Assisting in maintaining compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
Supporting documentation and reporting requirements related to HR governance and compliance.
What We're Looking for:

Current student enrolled (Bachelor’s degree or diploma) in Human Resources Management program
Previous HR internship, co-op or work experience is an asset.
Strong interest in recruitment and HR operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
Salary - $20.00 per hour
