We are seeking a passionate and attentive Workplace Learning Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage our learning technologies to enhance user engagement. Permanent, Part-Time

Workplace Learning Clerk

(28 hours per week)

Waterloo Office


Reporting to the Director of Workplace Learning, the Workplace Learning Clerk provides support to numerous administrative tasks of the Workplace Learning Department. This may include tasks related to events, record keeping, virtual course instruction, data entry to the Learning Management System, and editing materials.


Key Responsibilities

Event & Course Production Support

Act as a virtual course “Producer” to assist instructors during online sessions.
Support internal meetings, webinars, and information sessions using platforms like MS Teams and Zoom.
Navigate virtual features such as breakout rooms, polls, and chats.

Registration & Attendance Management

Manage course registrations and attendance tracking.
Update employee transcripts in the Learning Management System (LMS).
Enter attendance data into the Human Resources Information System.

Event Logistics & Follow-Up

Prepare materials such as gift bags and name badges for events.
Create and manage surveys and evaluations.
Assist with mass mailing initiatives.

Data & Departmental Support

Maintain data integrity across internal systems.
Support course content testing and editing.
Manage records including Insured Driver’s files and the Lending Library.
Record meeting minutes and support departmental documentation.

Requirements:

1 year of previous work experience in an office environment.
College Diploma in a related field of study (e.g., Office Administration)
Exceptional teamwork and collaborative skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft 365 Suite and data entry
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiar with virtual platforms (MS Teams and Zoom) and knowledge of SharePoint is considered an asset
