Human Resources Advisor
Canada Fluorspar Inc. | St. Lawrence, NL
Canada Fluorspar (NL) Inc. (CFI) is seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team in St. Lawrence, Newfoundland and Labrador. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role provides day-to-day HR support to supervisors and employees, helping ensure effective people practices that support safe and productive operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide HR guidance and support to supervisors and employees
Support employee relations, performance management, and workplace investigations
Lead full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, screening, and interviews
Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation
Assist with workforce planning and staffing needs
Support HR policies and ensure compliance with NL employment legislation
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in mining, construction, or industrial environments
Knowledge of Newfoundland and Labrador employment legislation
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
CPHR designation (or working toward) considered an asset
