Position: Counter/Shipper (Counter Sales Associate & Shipper/Receiver)

Reporting to: Sales Centre Manager

Location: Burnaby, BC

Who We Are: Carrier Enterprise Canada (CEC) is a national distributor of residential and light commercial Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration products, parts and supplies through licensed HVAC/R dealers and contractors. CE operates primarily in the business-to-business environment where its products are sold through licensed HVAC dealers and HVAC contractors. These dealers are independent companies that sell, deliver and service Carrier, Bryant & Payne products to residences and businesses in their respective markets. CEC offers customers a wide range of HVAC/R product lines, competitive pricing, best-in-class customer service and valuable, time-saving services that positions CEC as an industry leader. With 34 locations in Canada and over 150+ locations, in 28 states, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, Latin America, Mexico, there is a location to service our customers HVAC/R needs.

We are currently accepting internal and external applications for the Counter/Shipper.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure that equipment is stored and protected from damage and readily available for shipment
Handle all shipping and receiving duties, including physical distribution to customers, storage of products within the warehouse and receiving incoming materials and equipment
Prepare documentation of both incoming and outgoing equipment and parts
Maintain the warehouse facility in a safe and clean manner
Provide sales assistance as required and backup sales coverage during absence of team members
Provide top quality service to our customers
Handle customer calls and inquiries
Maintain the showroom, including stocking shelves, merchandise and inventory maintenance
Required Qualifications:

Previous experience in technical/sales roles
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Positive attitude and customer service oriented
Computer literate
Strong organization skills and the ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
Able to operate the forklift operator
Proficiency in e-commerce solutions and environment
Preference will be given to those who have previous HVACR wholesale experience and/or who have graduated from a HVAC/R technical program
