Security Guard/Concierge

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment through surveillance and proactive security measures. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various security situations.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks.
Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity across the premises.
Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or other security breaches.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including assisting law enforcement when necessary.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and any suspicious behavior.
Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, or vendors.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious activity and intervening when appropriate.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally while maintaining security protocols.
Qualifications

Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred.
Knowledge of surveillance systems and CCTV operation is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques and security best practices.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Good communication skills for interacting with staff, visitors, and emergency responders.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in security or law enforcement are a plus.
*This is an overnight full-time position being offered to guards with at least 1 yr of security concierge experience.

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
