We are looking for a reliable, organised, and proactive Inwards Goods Assistant to join our team at PAK'nSAVE Napier City.

This is a critical role responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient flow of stock into the store, ensuring accuracy, safety and strong communication across the business.

Rostered hours are Tuesday - Friday 10.00am - 18.30, Saturday 05.00am - 13.30


Key Responsibilities

Oversee all incoming goods, ensuring they match invoices, delivery notes and quality standards.
Ensure accurate recording of all stock movements within store systems.
Maintain efficient organisation and storage of stock in designated areas.
Build strong working relationships with suppliers, drivers and internal departments.
Ensure the inwards goods area remains clean, safe and compliant with health and safety requirements.
Identify and implement improvements to workflow and stock management processes.

Skills & Attributes

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Physically fit and capable of safely lifting and moving heavy items.

Requirements

Previous experience in inwards goods warehousing or logistics is preferred.
A current forklift license.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe work practices.
Understanding of health & safety requirements.
