Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and heavy equipment operation. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes. The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in ensuring efficient inventory management and timely delivery of products in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Operate heavy equipment including forklifts to load, unload, and transport goods safely and efficiently
Assist with order picking, packaging, and order fulfillment to meet customer specifications
Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation through warehouse management systems such as AS400
Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing inventory and maintaining stock levels
Conduct mechanical inspections of equipment and perform basic troubleshooting when necessary
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Qualifications

Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 is preferred
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting on heavy equipment
Experience with shipping & receiving procedures and inventory management
Ability to lift heavy loads regularly and perform physically demanding tasks involving heavy lifting
Prior warehouse experience in distribution or manufacturing environments is highly desirable
Knowledge of order picking, packaging, load & unload procedures, and warehouse safety standards
Construction or heavy equipment operation experience is a plus
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
