Job Description

Position Title: Fulfillment Associate/ Compounder

Job Type: Part-time to Full-time

Pay: Starting @ $21/ (Salary). Contract during probation period.

Expected Hours: 7 hours/day (10am to 5pm). 5 days per week. Monday to Friday. With flexibility. No holidays/weekends. Increased hours can be available.

Work Location: In-person

Benefits: Paid holiday/paid sick days. Flexible PTO.

Primary Function:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including: preparing orders, receiving, and organizing. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and keeping the warehouse clean and organized. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Order Fullfillment

Fulfilling orders. Pouring essential oils, vegetable oils and other plant based materials into bulk containers.
Pick and pack/palletize orders accurately according to packing slips and instructions.
Using provided formula to blend liquid materials.
2. Warehouse Operations Support

Receive, unload, and store incoming products safely and efficiently.
Operate a semi-electric straddle stacker and/or pump truck to load, unload, and move products as needed.
Follow all warehouse safety procedures and semi-electric straddle stacker and/or pump truck operating guidelines.
Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with coworkers and supervisors.
Support other warehouse tasks and projects as assigned.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment at all times
Report any safety hazards or equipment issues promptly to the supervisor.
3. Inventory Control Assistance

Assist in conducting regular physical inventory counts.
Report stock shortages, damaged, or misplaced products to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Help ensure accurate labeling and tracking of products.
4. Compounding

Dedicated attention when handling Plant’s Power Inc. Inventory: essential oil, carrier oils, hydrosols, plant based butters.
Following WHMIS guidelines when handling inventory.
Mixing/blending inventory based on provided formula.
Packaging inventory and/or liquid blends into designated vessels. Vessel sizes range from 100ml glass bottle to 180kg drum.
Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
WHMIS training
Experience:

1–2 years of experience in a kitchen/warehouse/lab/ or similar operational role preferred, e.g. Hospitality industry, pharmaceutical production, cosmetic production, agriculture.
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks safely.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Proficient in spoken and written English
Proficient in both Metric and Imperial measurement systems
Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
