Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes through various horticultural and construction activities. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape maintenance, gardening, and mechanical tools, with an emphasis on safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship. The Landscape Technician will work closely with team members to deliver exceptional outdoor environments for our clients.

Duties

Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive landscapes
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators for excavation and construction projects
Install and repair irrigation systems to promote proper watering and plant health
Utilize hand tools and power tools for planting, trimming, edging, and other landscaping activities
Conduct gardening tasks such as soil preparation, fertilization, and pest control
Assist with construction projects including retaining walls, walkways, or other landscape features
Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure optimal operation of machinery and tools
Follow safety protocols during all landscape operations to prevent accidents or injuries
Experience

Prior experience with landscape maintenance or horticulture is preferred
Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and power tools is advantageous
Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and repair is a plus
Hands-on experience with excavation equipment such as excavators is desirable
Knowledge of gardening practices, plant care, and horticulture principles is beneficial
Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions
Construction experience related to outdoor projects will be considered an asset
