Position Overview
We are seeking an Experienced CNC Programmer with 4-5 years of programming experience and a solid background in the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of CNC programming software and be capable of developing efficient, precise machining processes for complex aerospace components.
Responsibilities
Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for precision aerospace components.
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to develop machining strategies.
Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds to maximize production efficiency.
Collaborate with the Operations Manager, machinists, and quality team to ensure programs meet customer specifications.
Perform first-off inspections and adjust programs as required.
Maintain detailed documentation of program files, setup sheets, and tool lists.
Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime and ensure product quality.
Qualifications
Minimum 4-5 years of CNC programming experience in a precision machining environment.
Proficiency in CNC programming software such as Mastercam and SolidWorks
Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and blueprint reading.
Experience programming multi-axis CNC mills and lathes.
Aerospace industry experience is required.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machining challenges.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$37.00 per hour
