Job Overview
Join our dynamic retail team as a Stocker / Cashier, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create a welcoming shopping experience for our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining well-stocked shelves, ensuring products are organized and appealing, and providing exceptional customer service at the checkout. Your proactive approach will keep our store running smoothly and efficiently, making every visit enjoyable for shoppers. Whether assisting with product demos or handling transactions with precision, your positive attitude will shine through in every interaction.

Duties
• Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are organized, labeled correctly, and replenished promptly to maintain an inviting store environment
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process customer transactions quickly and securely
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service, addressing questions about products, store policies, and promotions
• Assist customers with product demos to highlight features and benefits, encouraging sales and enhancing their shopping experience
• Upsell related products or promotions to maximize sales opportunities while respecting customer preferences
• Maintain proper cash handling procedures, balancing registers at shift end and ensuring transaction accuracy
• Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays attractively and ensuring the store layout promotes easy navigation

Qualifications
• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; familiarity with POS systems is a plus
• Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, to connect effectively with diverse customers
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail environment is advantageous
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and performing retail math calculations accurately
• Knowledge of grocery store operations or experience in a grocery retail setting is beneficial
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate loads throughout shifts; attention to detail is essential
