We are looking to hire full-time carpenters helpers for our team at Steamatic of PEI. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a good work ethic and wants the opportunity while earn significant overtime pay attending after-hours calls.

Steamatic PEI is a full-service Restoration Contractor specializing in full service (Emergency & Reconstruction) on water, fire, mold, disaster recovery as well as commercial construction.

Description:

Steamatic PEI is searching for a full-time carpenter helpers to join our Stratford office. The responsibilities of this position would include but not limited to: providing professional services in residential homes and commercial properties. Carpenter helpers will be responsible to assist the lead carpenters on all aspects of general contracting.

The candidates for this position must have great customer service skills and be hard working, motivated, and comfortable with a variety of duties. If you feel your experience matches the requirements, apply today!

General duties of this position would include:

- Operating Various power tools.

- Assisting with all exterior construction duties.

- Assisting with insulation, vapor barrier and hanging drywall.

- Assisting with all floor installation.

- Assisting with wood and steel framing.

- Helping Lead carpenter in performing other job related tasks.

Requirements for this position would include:

Experience within the construction field is considered an asset.
Strong work ethic with desire to be part of a team.
Must have valid driver's license.
Pay is $20-$25/hr depending on experience PLUS overtime pay
