Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
Step into a role where your leadership shapes the future of Tasman’s essential wastewater and stormwater networks. As our Wastewater Supervisor, you’ll guide a skilled field crew maintaining and improving critical infrastructure from Collingwood to Murchison, including Motueka and Richmond.

This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same. You’ll be out in the field leading routine planned and reactive maintenance, responding to faults, supporting your crew on the ground, and ensuring every job is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard.

You’ll take ownership of day-to-day operations, planning work, allocating people, plant and materials, and ensuring all activities meet contract KPIs, resource consent requirements, and customer expectations. From urgent callouts to scheduled maintenance, you’ll keep response times sharp, systems running smoothly, and stakeholders well informed.

Leading from the front, you’ll foster a high-performing team culture built on accountability, continuous improvement, and Zero Harm. You’ll coach and support your crew, strengthen relationships with clients and partners, and ensure operational excellence across safety, quality, productivity, and cost.

This is your opportunity to lead with purpose, make a visible impact in the community, and help deliver a more resilient network for the region.
