Purpose/Summary:

Lower School Teachers are members of the lower school faculty serving grades Kindergarten thru Fifth grade in a K-8 configuration. The faculty member will be expected to fulfill the mission of Chandler School by planning, organizing, and implementing an appropriate program that challenges and encourages each student in a nurturing, balanced, and diverse environment. Core responsibilities include teaching core subject areas, participating in the field trips or outdoor education program, and creating a classroom culture that supports curiosity, effort, and growth. Other tasks and responsibilities are outlined below. Coaching opportunities are available.
