Fitter/ Heavy Vehicle and Trailer Mechanic

Iceman Group of Companies offers over 40 years’ experience in servicing the transport industry. Within Iceman Group of Companies, Transport Innovators is responsible for the servicing and repairs of transport trailers.

We are seeking Fitters or Trailer Mechanics to join our Perth Workshop team within the entities if TI Managment, PR Management and Transport Innovators.

The Fitter/Trailer Mechanic is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and modification of mechanical equipment and components to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Day to day you will be:

Completing Trailer and Truck Servicing
Diagnosing Trailer and Truck concerns and completing the relevant repairs
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical equipment and machinery
Diagnose mechanical faults and perform repairs efficiently
Install, assemble, test, and commission mechanical systems and components
Replace worn or damaged parts and ensure equipment is fit for service

Our requirements for the role are:

Trade qualification as a Fitter / Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent)
Relevant industry experience in mechanical fitting and maintenance
Driver’s licence (minimum C Class)
Forklift or EWP licence (Desirable)
Tech‑savvy with the ability to adopt and use new digital tools, including our recently developed company app.
