Job Description
A tribal hospital located about an hour from Billings, Montana, is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a contract role lasting 3 to 12 months. This position involves providing comprehensive pharmacy services with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately and safely in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy
Utilize RPMS (Resource and Patient Management System) for pharmacy operations and documentation
Monitor patient progress and adjust medication plans as needed
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical pharmacy standards
Provide patient education on medication use and potential side effects
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist with any state license accepted
Experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy, preferably with inpatient and outpatient care
Familiarity with RPMS or similar healthcare IT systems is beneficial
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Location:
Approximately one hour from Billings, Montana, offering an opportunity to work in a unique tribal healthcare environment
Schedule:
4 shifts per week, 10 hours each, day shifts
