Job Description
Due to continued business growth, we are seeking experienced mechanics to join our team.
Applicants must be based in Auckland. The hourly rate ranges from $28 to $42, depending on experience, for 30–40 hours per week. Remuneration will be reviewed periodically.
Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Diagnostics and Repairs: Diagnose faults in engines and vehicle systems, and carry out repairs or replacements to ensure optimal performance.
Routine Maintenance: Perform servicing tasks including oil and filter changes, coolant replacement, and general mechanical checks.
Structural and Frame Repairs: Carry out body and chassis alignment or repairs using appropriate equipment (e.g. chassis machines, measuring tools).
Vehicle Modifications and Upgrades: Undertake minor modifications or performance enhancements as required by the business or clients.
Customer Communication: Provide clear and professional communication to customers regarding vehicle issues, repair options, and cost estimates.
Requirements:
A minimum of two years’ relevant automotive mechanical experience; or
A Level 4 qualification in Automotive Engineering (or a related field).
