Fashion Stylist and Merchandiser

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Fashion Stylist and Merchandiser to elevate our brand’s visual identity and product presentation. Duties

Develop captivating fashion styling concepts that align with seasonal themes and target audiences, utilizing your knowledge of fashion design, color theory, and garment construction.
Curate visually appealing displays and window setups that attract foot traffic and enhance the shopping experience, employing graphic design skills and Adobe Creative Suite tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
Manage the product lifecycle from initial concept sketches through production, working closely with designers, suppliers, and production teams using product lifecycle management software.
Coordinate with retail teams to ensure merchandise presentation is consistent, implementing merchandising strategies that optimize sales opportunities.
Conduct market research on current fashion trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to inform styling choices and merchandising plans.
Oversee garment construction processes when needed, ensuring quality standards are met when garments are tailored by evaluating sewing techniques.
Support promotional campaigns by styling models or influencers for photoshoots or events, leveraging your expertise in fashion styling and theater set design if applicable.
Skills

Designing layouts, mood boards, and presentations.
Knowledge of product lifecycle management systems to oversee collection development from concept to delivery.
Expertise in fashion design principles including garment construction, sewing techniques, and illustration skills.
Experience in fashion retail environments with an eye for visual merchandising strategies that boost sales.
Deep understanding of color theory to create harmonious color palettes for collections and displays.
Familiarity with social media and design tools to craft compelling marketing visuals or content.
Excellent sense of style combined with a passion for fashion styling that captures current trends while maintaining brand identity.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines.
