Job Description
We are looking for a warm and outgoing Hotel Front Desk Associate preferably with Hilton PEP experience that possesses a strong work ethic, and a firm commitment to providing the best possible customer service and guest experience.
Specific qualifications for the role include:
• High school diploma or GED
• Prior hospitality experience, preferred
• Sufficient calculator skills to prepare moderately complex mathematical calculations without error
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer
• Must be able to handle multi-tasking and be goal- and results-oriented.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanour
• Strong English language skills, Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
As a Hotel Front Desk Associate, you will greet our guests, assist them with check-ins and check-outs, and provide consistently prompt, responsive and courteous service designed to meet our high standards of quality, and to ensure repeat business.
Your specific duties in this role will include:
• Listening to, and understanding guest requests, responding with prompt and appropriate action
• Assist guests with recommendations and information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities
• Enroll guests in the Hilton Honors rewards program as required by Hilton
• Answers all reservations, telephone calls and emails in a friendly manner, using clear English communication. When processing emails or listening to callers, ensure a clear understanding of their inquiries and requests.
• Process all payments securely using various methods including credit/debit cards, cash, and credit card authorization forms. Ensure accurate billing for room charges and additional services, resolving any discrepancies and providing receipts or invoices upon check-out.
• Handle hotel emergency procedures and situations with maturity and professionalism.
• Responding to, and addressing guest complaints and concerns
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
• Performing additional duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor
