Responsibilities
Provide professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity
Maintain a high standard of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure client safety and hygiene compliance
Stay current with the latest trends in nail design, color theory, and innovative techniques to offer fresh options to clients
Engage with clients through excellent communication skills to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail care treatments or upgrades
Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, or esthetic laser treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
Assist with retail sales of nail care products, skincare items, and beauty accessories by applying retail math and upselling strategies
Collaborate with team members on salon operations, appointments scheduling, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all clients
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role with a strong portfolio of nail art and design work
Certification in Cosmetology or Nail Technology from an accredited program is required
Knowledge of sanitation standards and procedures for maintaining a safe working environment
Familiarity with color theory, nail care techniques, and current beauty trends including gel nails, acrylics, and nail art
Additional skills such as eyelash extensions, hair styling, hair extensions, hair threading, body waxing, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments or barbering are a plus but not mandatory
Excellent communication skills combined with friendly customer service abilities to build lasting client relationships
Ability to upsell services effectively while respecting client preferences
Strong retail sales skills along with understanding of retail math principles for maximizing product sales
