Corporate Counsel

Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing multinational corporation, is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel to join their esteemed legal department. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from any location while providing expert legal guidance to support the company's global operations and strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for a broad range of legal matters, including contract drafting and negotiation, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, intellectual property management, and dispute resolution. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of corporate law, commercial agreements, and compliance frameworks relevant to international business. You will work closely with various departments, including business development, finance, and human resources, to provide timely and effective legal advice that mitigates risk and facilitates business objectives. Key responsibilities include reviewing and advising on commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations in multiple jurisdictions, managing corporate filings, and assisting with mergers and acquisitions. Experience in advising on data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and cybersecurity matters is highly desirable. The successful candidate must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, remote environment. A Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from a reputable institution and admission to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction are required. A minimum of 6 years of relevant legal experience, preferably with a combination of law firm and in-house experience, is necessary.
