Job Description
We are currently looking for 2 experienced Mobile Phone Technicians to join our team in Christchurch. This role requires expertise on both Apple and Android device repairs along with products selling skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Repairing mobile phones, iPads and other tablets; and resolving both software and hardware issues
Sales of accessories and screen protector installations.
Providing clients customer service including troubleshooting and identifying requirements and providing a thorough explanation of the services that meet their requirements & recommending products that suit their needs.
Installing software, updates and diagnosing software issues.
Preparing and placing new orders for accessories and repair parts as and when required.
Managing customer complaints if needed.
Keeping the premises safe and secure at all times.
The candidate will be required to work for 30 to 50 hours per week and will be paid between $27 to $34 per hour depending on your experience.
Other important requirements:
Minimum of 6 months relevant work experience or relevant qualification (minimum Level 4 or above)
Available to work on weekends and public holidays
Available to work on a flexible roster
Attention to detail
Excellent time-management skills
Hardworking and a passionate individual about technology.

A New Zealand Registered Diploma (equivalent to level 4) or higher qualification.

Alternatively, applicants may meet the requirements with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience in lieu of the formal qualification.
