Job Description
Full job description
Job Description: Data Engineer (Strategic Solutions)
Experience: 5+ Years
Type: Contract
The Role
We are seeking a high-caliber Data Engineer who operates at the intersection of technical excellence and business strategy. This isn't just a role for a coder; we need a "consultative builder"—someone with the entrepreneurial mindset to see beyond the ticket and understand the "why" behind the data. You will be a key driver in delivering modern data architectures, moving seamlessly between Microsoft Fabric and Databricks environments. You are someone who takes extreme ownership of client success, proactively identifying bottlenecks and proposing AI-driven efficiencies before they are even requested.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Engineering: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that align with client business objectives, ensuring high data quality and reliability.
Platform Integration: Architect solutions that bridge Dynamics 365 (D365) data with Microsoft Fabric and Databricks, creating a unified source of truth.
AI Implementation: Integrate Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning models into data workflows to automate processes and provide predictive insights for clients.
Client Partnership: Act as a technical consultant, translating complex data structures into actionable business logic. You will go "above and beyond" to ensure the tech stack solves the client's actual commercial problems.
Modern DevOps: Utilize VS Code, Git, and CI/CD best practices to maintain a sophisticated and clean codebase.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience: 5+ years in Data Engineering with a proven track record of supporting large-scale enterprise clients.
Core Tech Stack:
o Expertise in Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Data Factory, Lakehouses).
o Strong proficiency in Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake).
o Advanced Python and SQL Server development.
o Hands-on experience with DB2 or legacy database migrations.
D365 Ecosystem: Strong understanding of Dataverse and extracting value from Dynamics 365 environments.
Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated business acumen—you understand ROI, project margins, and how data impacts the bottom line.
Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication. You can present a technical roadmap to a CEO just as easily as you can debug with a developer.
Personal Attributes
Entrepreneurial Thinker: You treat every project like your own business. You are resourceful, proactive, and don't wait for permission to innovate.
Adaptable: You thrive in "gray areas" where requirements might shift, and you can quickly pivot between different tools and project scopes.
Continuous Learner: You are already experimenting with the latest AI tools and LLM integrations to stay ahead of the curve.
Why Join Us?
You will be working on high-impact projects that define the future of our clients' data maturity. We value autonomy and the "above and beyond" attitude, providing you with the space to lead and the tools (like the latest in Microsoft Fabric and AI) to succeed.
Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
Benefits:
Flexible schedule
Work from home
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bengaluru, Karnataka (Bengaluru, 560000)
