Hiring: Logistics Coordinator
Location: ITC Narmada, Judges Bunglow Rd, Satellite, Ahmedabad
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Experience Required: 1– 3 Years
Job Description: Logistics Coordinator (Tentative Salary 25k per month)

1. Core Objective
To execute the daily dispatch plan by coordinating vehicle arrivals, loading activities, and real-time transit tracking to ensure on-time delivery and 100% documentation compliance.

2. Key Responsibilities

Dispatch Execution: Coordinating with the Loading location (Plant/ warehouse) to align vehicle placement with loading bay availability.
Driver Briefing: Handing over trip details, route instructions, and "Do’s & Don’ts" to drivers upon arrival.
Live Tracking: Monitoring vehicle movement via GPS or tele-calling drivers to ensure they adhere to the planned transit time.
Document Verification: Physically checking original RC, Insurance, and Driver’s Licenses at the loading point before allowing a vehicle to load.
Issue Resolution: Handling "on-road" issues such as vehicle breakdowns, route diversions, or police/entry problems by coordinating with the Transport Manager.
Unloading Coordination: Confirming vehicle arrival at the destination and ensuring the "Proof of Delivery" (POD) is signed and stamped correctly.
3. Operational Tasks

Maintaining the Inward/Outward Register for all vehicles.
Generating Lorry Receipts (LR) and ensuring all transit documents (Invoices, E-way bills) are handed to the driver.
Collecting and scanning physical PODs for submission to the billing team.
Updating the ERP/TMS (Transport Management System) with real-time dispatch data.
4. Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 1–3 years in logistics coordination, dispatch, or fleet operations.
Communication: High patience and "street-smart" communication skills to manage drivers and loaders.
Technical: Basic Excel skills and familiarity with GPS tracking platforms or TMS software.
Local Geography: Strong knowledge of local "No-Entry" timings and city shortcuts.
Availability: Willingness to work in shifts (Logistics is often a 24/7 operation).
5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

POD Compliance: Percentage of clean, error-free PODs collected within the stipulated time.
Tracking Accuracy: Frequency and accuracy of status updates provided to the customer or internal team.
Zero Loading Errors: Ensuring the right material is loaded onto the right vehicle as per the invoice.
