Laundry Pickup and Delivery Driver

The Laundry Delivery Driver is responsible for using the company vehicle to pick up and deliver residential and commercial laundry throughout the metro Atlanta area. This position is responsible for 10-20 pickups/deliveries per day and require lifting up to 200 pounds per pickup or delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organize and load delivery orders for designated route(s). Ensure inventory matches delivery requirements and route list. Manage multiple dispatch systems and merge into one driver app daily. Keep vehicle organized, clean and tidy. Refuel vehicle as needed. Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered to supervisors immediately.

Ensure all pickup orders are properly ticketed, weighed and logged into the POS system for attendant processing. Check orders (tickets/bags) to ensure delivery to correct location within the delivery window timeframe. Must be always uniformed.

Provide professional and positive customer service to all customers.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED equivalent certification.

Valid Georgia Driver’s License.

Clean driving record with no moving violations.

Able to lift 50 pounds comfortably.

Dependable, hardworking and an effective communicator.

Excellent time-management and organizational skills required.

Computer and GPS navigation literate.
