Job Description

F+A is an integrated marketing and PR firm based in Seattle, with a national footprint. For three decades, we’ve served clients in professional services, healthcare and beyond. We’re women-owned, powered by a team of exceptional professionals.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, strategic, and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our Seattle-based public relations agency. This role is ideal for a communications professional who is equally comfortable thinking strategically and executing with precision — someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, takes initiative, and enjoys delivering high-quality work across multiple clients and industries.

As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in developing and executing integrated communications programs, building relationships with media and stakeholders, and contributing to the success of client accounts. You'll be supported by a collaborative team while taking ownership of your work, proactively identifying opportunities, and consistently delivering results.

This position is local to Seattle and requires a minimum of two days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

Client Service & Account Management
• Support day-to-day client communications, including gathering information, tracking deadlines, and participating in meetings
• Contribute ideas and recommendations to advance client programs and achieve business objectives
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and approval processes to ensure work is completed on time and within scope
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and external partners

Content Development & Storytelling
• Draft high-quality communications materials including key messages, press releases, op-eds, media pitches, and social content
• Translate complex topics into clear, compelling narratives tailored to target audiences
• Ensure all materials meet agency standards for quality, accuracy, and AP style

Media Relations & Outreach
• Build and maintain relationships with traditional and digital media
• Research and secure media coverage, as well as editorial, award, and speaking opportunities
• Support media outreach strategies and track results

Integrated Campaign Execution
• Assist in developing and executing integrated communications programs across paid, earned, owned, and shared channels
• Support digital and social media initiatives, including content development and audience engagement
• Coordinate with subject-matter experts, partners, and vendors to support campaign execution

Events & Special Projects
• Support planning and execution of events, announcements, and community or stakeholder engagement activities
• Contribute to special projects and new business efforts as needed

Candidate Attributes
• Strategic and hands-on: Able to connect day-to-day work to broader client goals while executing with attention to detail
• Proactive and resourceful: Anticipates needs, identifies opportunities, and takes initiative to move work forward
• Results-driven: Takes ownership of responsibilities and consistently delivers high-quality outcomes
• Collaborative and relationship-oriented: Enjoys working as part of a team and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Detail-oriented and organized: Effectively manages multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Committed to quality: Maintains high standards and takes pride in producing thoughtful, polished work
• Professionally mature: Demonstrates sound judgment, integrity, and confidence in client and team interactions
• Exceptional writer: Brings strong writing and editing skills, with fluency in AP style and the ability to adapt tone for different audiences

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field
• Minimum of 3+ years of public relations agency or equivalent in-house experience
• Proven experience securing media coverage in traditional and digital outlets
• Familiarity with digital and social media tools and platforms
• Experience supporting integrated communications campaigns
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work under deadlines
