Position: Instrument Technician
Job Summary:
The Instrument Technician is responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation and control systems in a chemical manufacturing environment. The role ensures the reliability and accuracy of instruments essential for the safe and efficient operation of chemical processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Calibration and Maintenance:
Perform regular calibration of instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Conduct preventive maintenance on instrumentation and control systems to minimize downtime.
Troubleshooting and Repair:
Diagnose and troubleshoot instrumentation and control system failures.
Repair or replace faulty instruments and components to restore normal operations.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, calibration, and repair activities.
Prepare reports on instrument performance and reliability for management review.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Participate in safety audits and inspections as required.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improving instrumentation and control systems.
Implement upgrades and modifications to enhance system performance and reliability.
Collaboration:
Work closely with process engineers, maintenance staff, and other departments to ensure optimal operation of instrumentation systems.
Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
ITI Instrumentation/IMCP certification or equivalent technical qualification.
Experience:
Minimum of 1-5 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in the chemical industry or a similar industrial environment.
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
