Description:
The purpose of this position is to conduct initial, concurrent, retrospective chart review for clinical, financial and resource utilization. Coordinates with healthcare Team for optimal efficient patient outcomes, while decreasing length of stay and avoid delays and denied days. They are accountable for a designated patient caseload and provides intervention and coordination to decrease avoidable delays denial of reimbursement. Specific functions within this role include: Screens pre-admission, admission process using established criteria for all points of entry, Facilitates communication between payers, review agencies and healthcare team, Identify delays in treatment or inappropriate utilization and serves as a resource, Coordinates communication with physicians, Identify opportunities for expedited appeals and collaborates resolve payer issues and ensures, maintains effective communication with Revenue Cycle Departments. Estimated pay range for this position is $47.00 / hour depending on shift as applicable.

• Registered Nurse.
Additional Qualifications:
• RNs hired prior to 2/2012 (10/1/2017 at Bethesda or 7/1/2019 at BRRH) with an Associates Degree in Nursing are not required to have a BSN to continue their non-leadership role as an RN; however, required to complete the BSN within 3 years of hire.
• 3 years of hospital clinical experience preferred.
• Excellent written, interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to perform clinical chart review abstract information efficiently.
• Strong analytical, data management and computer skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, as evidenced by capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and role components.
• Current working knowledge of payer and managed care reimbursement preferred.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in interactions with the health care team and patients/families.
• Knowledgeable in local, state, and federal legislation and regulations, and ability to tolerate high volume production standards.

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be responsible for representing KRYSTEXXA to physicians and health care professionals, establishing product sales, and performing total territory account management.
The Specialty Account Manager is responsible for providing account management support to accounts within a specific geography in the designated marketplace with a focus on issues specific to their designated accounts. The SAM acts as central account manager; responsible for driving product demand and coordinating relevant field teams to address account needs.
Responsibilities
• Develops a comprehensive and effective territory business plan aimed at achieving and exceeding annual sales goals established by sales and business unit leadership.
• Promotes Krystexxa within approved labeling in a comprehensive, fair and ethical manner that is consistent with industry specific and corporate legal and regulatory guidelines.
• Addresses issues related to access, pull-through, and reimbursement by coordinating with key stakeholders and matrix team members.
• Develops strong customer relationships by better understanding the customer’s needs and goals and communicating those needs and goals to other team members.
• Consistently meets or exceeds corporate sales goals.
• Communicates territory activity in an accurate and timely manner as directed by management.
• Drive product demand among targets through education on disease state and product information.
• Provides feedback to sales and business unit leadership, colleagues, and other internal departments about changing environment and results.
• Adheres to the Company’s compliance policies and guidelines as well as any other applicable guidelines, including but not limited to the PhRMA code.
• Must be able to work closely with patient services and market access team members, and understand their roles, to achieve overall business goals,
• Coordinate between accounts and relevant Amgen field teams to support full range of account needs,
• Educate healthcare professionals and office staff on site of care options.
• Attends medical congresses and society meetings as needed.
• Manages efforts within assigned promotional and operational budget.
• Maximizes use of approved resources to achieve territory and account level goals
• Successfully completes all Company training classes.

Basic Qualifications (Account Manager – Level 4)
Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience

Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience
OR
High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience
Basic Qualifications (Specialty Account Manager – Level 5)
Doctorate degree & 2 years of collective account management experience, sales, & commercial experience

Preferred Qualifications:
• Buy-and-bill experience with documented success and/or biologic/infusion experience strongly preferred.
• Sales experience in Nephrology, Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, and/or rare/specialty disease states preferred.
• Site of care and reimbursement experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working with institutions and integrated delivery networks preferred.
• Pharma account management selling experience essential; must be able to coordinate across field teams to address full range of account needs.
• Approximately 80% travel (may vary by territory), including some overnight and weekend commitments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

The Bascom Palmer Eye Institute is currently seeking a full time Core Desk Coordinator for the Department of Preadmissions in Miami. Florida. The Core Desk Coordinator assumes responsibility for the daily management and efficient coordination of the surgical case load, staffing availability, and room start times and room turnover. Moreover, The Core Desk Coordinator assumes responsibility for the daily management and efficient coordination of
preadmission workflows, including patient readiness, staffing support, and timely processing of scheduled and add-on cases.
The Core Desk Coordinator provides direct and indirect support to patients and staff, facilitates communication between nursing, APRNs, anesthesia, and surgical teams, and helps ensure all preoperative requirements are completed accurately and efficiently. Additionally, the incumbent supports the development and implementation of individualized plans of care and evaluates patient readiness for surgery.
