Job Description
Waikato Hospital - Night Belt
Permanent, part-time position
5 hours per week 5 days @ 3.5 hours per day
Come join our great team working Waikato Hospital where you will gain valuable experience serving patient meals and beverages.
This position would suit anyone that needs to keep the main part of the day free but can work between 4.30pm and 8.30pm. It may include weekends & public holidays.

About the Role
If you are reliable and are willing to learn, we will teach you the skills you need to do the job.
In this role you will be responsible for tasks such as:
Serving patient meals on the trayline.
Washing dishes using a commercial dishwasher.
Delivering meals to patients.
Making beverages for patients.
Cleaning workstations after service is completed.

We are looking for people who
Are extremely reliable and with a great attendance record.
Have the ability to work within a team.
Have a high standard of personal presentation.
Are able to show care and empathy.
Have flexibility and a positive attitude towards variable working hours.
Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or an eligible NZ work visa and be able to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English.
Food preparation experience and a food safety qualification are desirable but not essential. If you are reliable and are willing to learn, we will teach you the skills you need to do the job.
