Role and Responsibilities:

As a Reading Teacher, you will provide tailored reading instruction designed to strengthen literacy and comprehension. You will create and deliver lessons that address each student's unique learning needs and goals.
• Design and teach reading lessons that align with individual student skill levels and objectives.
• Instruct students in comprehension strategies such as summarizing, predicting, and identifying key points.
• Help learners expand vocabulary, improve phonics, and increase reading fluency.
• Monitor student progress and offer constructive feedback to guide improvement.
• Adjust teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and reading challenges.
• Collaborate with students and families to set learning goals and track advancement.
• Create a motivating and positive learning environment that fosters curiosity and confidence.

Required Skills and Experience:
• In-depth knowledge of literacy development and reading instruction techniques.
• Experience teaching or tutoring reading at various grade levels or skill stages.
• Ability to communicate reading strategies in a clear and engaging manner.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for motivating and guiding students.
• Organizational skills for lesson planning and tracking student progress effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Educational background in English, Literacy Studies, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting learners with reading difficulties or learning differences.
• Relevant certifications in literacy or language arts instruction or tutoring.
