POSITION DETAIL:

With over $915 million in assets, Houston Police Credit Union, located in Houston, Texas is currently in search of candidates to serve as their Collectors. This individual will participate in maintaining a financially sound loan portfolio through delinquency control. Responsibilities will include collection of accounts over 30 days delinquent, including but not limited to: soliciting payment arrangements, interviewing members to determine reason for delinquency, taking appropriate action to resolve the account, counseling members concerning their financial obligations and offering suggestions and alternatives, recommending further action as deemed necessary, skip tracing as necessary to locate members and posting loan payments. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of similar experience including 3rd party collections, be reliable and punctual, and possess excellent customer service skills.
