Senior Maintenance Technician

We're seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join our Horsley Park site on a full-time, day-based roster. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll be part of a supportive maintenance team, focused on keeping dry-end production equipment running smoothly.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for dry-end equipment downstream of filling and capping, including mechanical handling, packaging and end-of-line systems.


Key responsibilities:

Mechanical fault finding and breakdown response
Preventative and scheduled maintenance (PM / SM) delivery
Repairs and overhauls of conveyors, packing lines, palletisers and materials-handling systems
Identifying parts, planning repairs and supporting stock control
Working closely with production to minimise downtime
Coordinating and supporting external contractors
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with GMP and food safety standards
Day shift role, with flexibility to stay back for urgent or critical repairs.

About You

You're a reliable, trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing and takes pride in well-maintained plant.

Essential:

Mechanical trade qualification
Minimum restricted electrical licence
Strong mechanical experience across conveyors, drives, gearboxes and automated equipment
FMCG, food or high-speed manufacturing experience
Proven preventative maintenance capability
Strong safety focus and practical problem-solving mindset
Desirable:

Beverage or bottled water manufacturing experience
Experience working in GMP / HACCP environments
