front desk/ customer sales associate

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Front Desk/Customer Sales Associate to join our dynamic team! Duties
• Greet customers warmly as they enter, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere
• Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
• Manage merchandising displays, stock shelves, and ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about products, store hours, or services
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging sales
• Support supervising staff in daily operations and maintain excellent customer service standards

Requirements
• Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math for transactions
• Knowledge of grocery store or retail environments is beneficial
• Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and inventory management tasks efficiently
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally
