Play a key role maintaining a modern underground and surface LV fleet
Be part of a high-performance maintenance culture at a major base metals mine
Residential, DIDO and FIFO options with generous allowances and benefits
About Us
Polymetals (ASX: POL) acquired the Endeavor Mine in 2023 and formally took control in August 2024. Endeavor is a major underground silver/lead/zinc mine, located 40km north-west of Cobar in Central-West NSW. Since then, Polymetals has delivered an initial 10-year mine plan, secured a US $20million (A$30million) loan facility, and restarted mining operations in June 2025.
It’s an exciting time for Endeavor and the Cobar region, with significant employment opportunities now available as we continue to expand production at one of Australia’s key base metal operations.

The Role
As we continue to ramp up at Endeavor Mine, we are seeking an experienced, trade-qualified Light Vehicle Fitter to join our maintenance team. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:
Performing inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on light vehicle fleets including Toyota LandCruisers, Hilux, and ancillary site vehicles.
Conducting preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing to ensure operational reliability.
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
Maintaining accurate service records and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Working safely and adhering to all site HSE procedures and standards.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
A trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).
Previous mining or heavy industrial experience (preferred but not essential).
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
A commitment to safe work practices and team collaboration.
Willingness to work on a continuous 7/7 roster system.
Benefits
Be one of the foundation members of our maintenance team as Endeavor grows.
Excellent remuneration package with opportunities for professional development.
5 weeks annual leave.
Residential, current Cobar residents
7/7 roster with residential allowance and gym allowance

DIDO Options (within NSW):
7/7 roster with travel allowance, accommodation and meal allowance provided and gym allowance.

FIFO Options
7/7 roster with accommodation, meals or meal allowance provided and gym allowance.

Cobar
Cobar is a well-established mining town with shopping, education and health services, plus a range of recreation, social, and sporting facilities. It’s only 3 hours from Dubbo and within a day’s drive of Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, with daily flights connecting Cobar and Sydney.

Join us and be part of building the next chapter of Endeavor Mine’s success!
