Job Description

This is a varied, hands-on position at the heart of our business. As our Business Support Officer, you’ll play a key role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly while supporting our customers and team. This role is part time, 30 hours across 5 days.

You’ll act as the central coordination point across the business – managing enquiries, supporting customers, assisting with administration and finance, and helping ensure everything stays aligned and on track. Key responsibilities include:

Providing day-to-day administrative and operational support
Acting as the first point of contact for customers, product users, and partners
Coordinating calls, appointments, and customer enquiries
Supporting the delivery and operation of NZLW products and systems
Maintaining accurate records, databases, and reporting
Assisting with invoicing, creditors, and basic financial tasks
Supporting sales and marketing activities, including maintaining digital content
Managing office supplies, systems, and general upkeep
This is a role where no two days are the same, and where your ability to stay organised, proactive, and customer-focused will make a real impact.


Qualifications

You’re a capable, detail-oriented professional who enjoys variety and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. You’re comfortable juggling multiple priorities and thrive in a small team where everyone pitches in. You’ll bring:

Strong administrative and organisational skills
Excellent communication – both written and verbal
Confidence using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (especially Excel/Sheets)
Experience with databases and maintaining accurate records
Basic accounting knowledge (invoicing, reconciliation – Xero or similar is a bonus)
A proactive, problem-solving mindset
High attention to detail and strong customer focus
Flexibility and a practical, hands-on approach
Experience with digital tools, CRM systems, or social media/business platforms will be an advantage.
