Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable/Accounting & Finance Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our financial integrity and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable process. You will work closely with various departments to manage invoices, vendor relationships, and payment processes, all while ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities
• * Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification and payment processing.
• * Maintain accurate records of vendor transactions and communications.
• * Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• * Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely processing of invoices and payment approvals.
• * Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting.
• * Prepare and analyze financial reports related to accounts payable metrics.
• * Monitor and maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• * Support audit processes by providing documentation and information as needed.
• * Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounts payable operations.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• * Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• * Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• * Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• * Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• * Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Experience
• * Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting roles.
• * Experience with financial software and ERP systems is a plus.
• * Previous experience in a remote working environment is preferred.

• * Full-time position with flexible working hours.
• * Expected to work 40 hours per week, primarily during standard business hours.
