We Are:

In this exciting role, you'll join Accenture Products and Platforms (APP), a group dedicated to transforming industry knowledge into innovative software solutions. We focus on blending industry expertise with agile methodologies to create products that accelerate value and enhance client satisfaction. You will find unique and rewarding opportunities to grow your career in software within our dynamic organization.

You Are:

At Accenture Products & Platforms, we seek an experienced Director of Software Sales to lead our marketing measurement software initiatives, expanding into digital video and OTT measurement. You have a successful background in selling SaaS solutions and are a vital member of the software sales team. Your strengths lie in identifying opportunities, nurturing relationships, and closing complex sales. You thrive in fast-paced environments, effectively develop growth strategies, and work with C-suite executives. As a Sales Director, you will oversee the sales process from initiation to closure, building relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring business growth. You will translate measurement insights into monetization strategies, enhancing client revenue and ROI.

The Work:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan, consistently achieving sales targets for software products, SaaS, Cloud Hosting, and Professional Services focused on marketing measurement and monetization.
• Craft and align a Go-to-Market Strategy with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accountability and success.
• Maintain a steady top-of-funnel activity to ensure conversion and close rates meet or exceed your sales targets.
• Lead proactive sales campaigns using deep domain expertise to secure new business and drive revenue growth.
• Build relationships with C-level executives, positioning our software solutions as integral to client transformation.
• Establish trust with clients by understanding their challenges and delivering tailored solutions that align with their KPIs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams—including Product Marketing, Pre-Sales, and Professional Services—to ensure that client needs are met and sales pursuits are successful.
• Stay current with trends in marketing measurement and the digital ecosystem, including video and OTT solutions.
• Communicate a compelling value proposition for monetization through measurement, helping clients optimize budget allocation and improve profitability.
• Represent our solutions and Accenture at industry events, showcasing our thought leadership.

Note that travel may be required for this role, typically around 40%, based on business needs.

Here's What You Need:
• A minimum of 6 years in a relevant product domain or industry.
• A proven track record of at least 3 years in enterprise software and SaaS sales, consistently exceeding sales metrics.
• Experience in technology modernization for large Fortune 2000 enterprises, with at least 3 years in this area.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum of 12 years)—an Associate's degree requires a minimum of 6 years work experience.

Professional Skills requirements:
• In-depth knowledge of telecommunications, media, advertising, and marketing with a focus on marketing measurement and its impact on monetization.
• Strong relationship-building skills, especially with C-suite executives.
• Proven success in designing and executing go-to-market strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to close complex, high-value sales opportunities.

Bonus Points If:
• You possess strong communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced negotiation capabilities to manage intricate financial and operational needs.
• Experience in sales process management, including forecasting and pipeline management.
• You are self-driven, resilient, and maintain a positive outlook.
