HVAC Maintenance Specialist

Your Impact

As an HVAC Maintenance Specialist, you will deliver top-notch maintenance services within our single-family rental homes while providing outstanding customer service to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:
• Addressing maintenance service requests across various trades
• Ensuring a quality living experience by offering excellent customer service
• Conducting regular proactive maintenance visits in residents' homes
• Educating residents on maintenance topics
• Performing property condition assessments during visits and notifying management of urgent issues
• Identifying areas for improvement using Technician-specific reports
• Executing repairs in vacant properties or during the turn process
• Using and maintaining company-issued tools, materials, and vehicles
• Completing additional assigned tasks as needed

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must obtain OSHA 10 certification within 90 days if not already certified
• Proven experience in residential repairs and maintenance or building maintenance
• Understanding of residential construction and mechanical systems; ability to conduct repairs in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sheetrock, HVAC (minor), and appliances
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication capabilities; bilingual skills are a plus
• Comfortable using mobile devices (i.e., iPad or iPhone) and mobile applications
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance

Preferred Certifications
• EPA Certification, Type I and II
• HVAC Certification
• CPO certification (pool)

Requirements
• Ability to work a regular schedule, including weekends and holidays if necessary
• Possess basic hand and power tools
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring frequent climbing, reaching, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating standard maintenance equipment
• Willingness to conduct occupancy checks and participate in eviction lockouts/setouts with local law enforcement

The salary for this role ranges from $20.19 to $35.00, plus potential annual bonus eligibility. Compensation will depend on individual skills, experience, and applicable laws.
