RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a Social Media Manager to join their team in their Pasadena, CA office (Hybrid 4 days onsite).
Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on Social Media leader to drive strategy and execution across our digital platforms. This role requires a strong storyteller with a sharp eye for design, a deep understanding of platform dynamics, and the ability to translate business priorities into compelling, compliant content.
You are equal parts strategic and execution-focused, comfortable developing content frameworks while also rolling up your sleeves to produce, publish and optimize content. You bring a data-driven mindset, stay ahead of cultural and platform trends, and know how to engage diverse audiences with clarity and creativity.
This role will lead day-to-day social media execution to strengthen brand awareness, grow engagement, and enhance the client's digital presence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute social media content strategies across platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube)
• Create and publish high-quality, on-brand content (copy, graphics and video) aligned with compliance standards
• Lead real-time and event-based coverage for key corporate, community, and industry engagements
• Manage social listening and community engagement; Monitor comments, messages and mentions with timely, professional responses
• Analyze performance metrics and deliver regular insights and recommendations to optimize content and campaigns
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align messaging with business priorities
• Maintain and organize digital content libraries and assets
• Stay current on emerging trends, tools and best practices in social media and digital communications
REQUIREMENTS:
• 10+ years of experience in social media or digital communications, or content strategy
• Exceptional writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills
• Strong experience with video production/editing and design tools
• Proficiency with social media management and analytics platforms (e.g., Meltwater, native platform tools)
• Deep understanding of platform algorithms, social SEO, hashtags and audience growth strategies
• Demonstrated ability to build and scale organic social programs that drive engagement and brand reputation
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions
• Highly organized, detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities independently
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments
• Willingness to travel occasionally for event coverage
• Online portfolio showcasing relevant work
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries
• Bilingual in Chinese Mandarin

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

About The Role

This role is crucial for ensuring impactful, consistent, and engaging social media content worldwide. Brands included within the social portfolio include AKG, BSS, Crown, FLUX, JBL Professional, Soundcraft, Martin Lighting, and more. This role report to the Group Social Media Director.
This role will have one direct report:
• 1 x Specialist, Social Media Professional Solutions
Along with direct reports, this team will manage agency partners to support work output, and work in collaboration with other global and regional HARMAN teams and across functions.
What You Will Do
• Strategy & Vision: Develop and implement a comprehensive global social media strategy aligned with overall business objectives with fixed and flex components to address differences around the world in terms of category and local cultural nuances.
• Business Integration: Apply understanding of business priorities, drivers, and plans to align social media strategy and sub-functional decision making accordingly
• B2B Social Media Marketing: Understanding how to drive relevancy for a predominantly B2B audience.
• Content Creation & Curation: Oversee the creation, curation, and distribution of engaging and relevant global content across all social media platforms.
• Performance Analysis: Build division wide, common analytic frameworks and best practices in utilizing social media analytics tools to track performance, identify trends, and optimize social media strategies across the globe.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, creative, PR, ecomm, and regional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging, brand persona, and user experience.
• Budget Management: Manage global social media budgets effectively and allocate resources to maximize impact.
• Trend Monitoring & Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve by identifying emerging social media trends and experimenting with new formats and platforms. Provide thought leadership and guidance to regional and cross-functional teams.
• Crisis Communication: Build the protocols to manage high-stakes crisis communication and reputation management across social media platforms.
What You Need To Be Successful
Applicants must demonstrate a deep understanding of social media channels, trends, best-practices, executional tactics, measurement, management, and more, including:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in social media marketing.
• Possess a deep understanding of major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube) and emerging trends.
• Minimum of 2 years at management level, leading and directing vendors and/or direct reports, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Strong strategic and creative solutions thinking. Ability to conceptualize complex concepts across many touch points, synthesize them, and simplify them to arrive at larger, more foundational ideas.
• Self-motivated, well organized, and up to challenges of ever-changing timelines, requests, and deliverables.
• Superior communications and presentation skills, with the ability to persuade and inform, while maintaining professional standards and strategic point-of-view
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and optimize social media performance.
• Experience developing creative and engaging social media content that resonates with target audiences.
• Stakeholder Management: experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
• Experience managing social media budgets and allocating resources effectively.
Bonus Points if You Have
• Experience in B2B social media marketing in the consumer electronics industry.

Pay Transparency
$ 117,000 - $ 171,600
Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation are also available, such as bonuses or commission.
Pay is based on a wide range of factors, including, without limitation, skill set, experience, training, location, and business need. While the above range is a reasonable estimate of the wage range for this position, please note the disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographical differential associated with the location where the position may be filled.
