Technical Inside Sales Representative

Full job description
Fluid Hose & Couplings Inc. is seeking a full-time Technical Inside Sales Representative. The ideal candidate is action-oriented who can manage multiple customer tasks from technical product selection to order processing and customer follow-up.

Roles and responsibilities Include:

Assist customers in product selection and identify potential sales opportunities to evaluate “fit” with our core business.
Support key OEM accounts, RFQ process (obtain supplier pricing and technical specifications), order processing & analysis, VMI support.
Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
Provide back-up support to other staff in the performance of job duties as required.
Other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements:

Solid mechanical aptitude.
Fluid Conveyance experience relative to hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies is an asset.
Proficient computer skills. Microsoft office Suite, Outlook, and other Cloud based applications.
Detailed and action-oriented and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal). International language skills are an asset.
Industry Experience (but not required):

Ability to read technical drawings.
ERP knowledge, Epicor.
ISO.

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
