We are looking for a physiotherapist to join our team who shares our values in compassion, creativity and excellence. This position is suited to a new graduate or someone who wishes to work consistent casual hours with some flexibility.
Role Overview
You will be caring for a varied caseload including paediatric and adult disability patients, the majority of which are NDIS funded. The work is entirely mobile, with your home being your base. We are offering 1.2 days (10 hours) on a casual contract with the potential to increase hours in the future. There is some flexibility in the hours worked which will be negotiated with your clinical lead.
Key Responsibilities
Provide assessment and care to a case load of clients in their home and community settings
Your caseload includes but is not limited to neurological, musculoskeletal, neurodivergent, developmental delays, pain management, weight management, mental health, equipment prescription, functional assessments, paediatric and eating disorders.
At times cover other physio caseload when necessary
Work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate documentation and communication
Quality record keeping within Fetu’s documentation system.
Provision of thorough assessment reports for NDIS and WorkCover.
Show strong communication skills including liaising with other service providers such as SIL managers and NDIS support coordinators.
Attend regular FETU meetings.
Prescription of appropriate Home Exercise Plans
