Operational Responsibilities
• Order Selection & Navigation: Monitor the Shipt app to select profitable grocery orders. Navigate to the designated retail store and utilize the app's digital aisle mapping to locate items rapidly.
• Precision Shopping & Quality Control: Act as the customer's eyes and hands. You must carefully inspect produce for freshness, check expiration dates on dairy, and handle fragile items with care to maintain the high standards expected by Shipt members.
• Real-Time Member Communication: Shipt prides itself on "over-communication." When an item is out of stock, you will use the app's integrated messaging feature to text the member, suggest high-quality replacements, and ensure their satisfaction before heading to the register.
• Checkout & Delivery: Check out seamlessly using the provided Shipt prepaid card. Load the groceries safely into your vehicle and utilize GPS to execute a secure, friendly delivery to the member's doorstep.
