Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking am Manufacturing Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in El Segundo, CA where technology and teamwork come together. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Manufacturing Engineering / Tooling organization working in a collaborative environment while promoting a positive and proactive teamwork environment.

Manufacturing Analyst job duties involve the following: structuring and maintaining bill of material, develop and maintain work instructions (including 3D visual work instructions) that meet manufacturing processes and procedures that are in compliance with customer requirements, implement detailed sequence of operations and specify procedures needed for product builds, investigate and initiate corrective actions and improvements relating to work instructions and identify improvement opportunities through sequence optimization with Manufacturing Engineering concurrence. Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning, continuous improvement, material management, process optimization and liaison. We seek Manufacturing Analysts that use a unique skill set that includes a hands-on approach and act as the production focal point for management of bill of material and production planning within the Aerospace sector. Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
• Oversees and manages all phases of projects and serves as a liaison between NGC stakeholders and suppliers.
• Reviews status of projects and manages schedules
• Prepare, provide, maintain, and present project status
• Create presentations

Core Competencies
• Manufacturing Methods - Knowledge of manufacturing, methods, fabrication processes (e.g., forming, stamping, machining, heat treatment, machines/machine tools, cutting tools and fluids, N/C programming, instrumentation, data acquisition and control systems). Ability to select the best method of producing parts, tools or assemblies. Verifiable performance record that includes the various aspects of assembly line operation
• Project Management - Successful project management and leadership experience. Coordination of design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with customers, both internal and external.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree with 1 years of experience OR Master's Degree with 0 years of experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance and Special Program access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
• Ability to work first shift
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Must be highly detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and a skilled communicator, creating schedules for the team.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in an engineering environment
• Experience with MS Project

Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

This role focuses on developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, with a strong emphasis on lamination, metal deposition, coatings of acrylic-based applications. Job Responsibilities

Process Development & Optimization
• Support implementation of APQP* and AS9145* methodologies.
• Assist in developing PFMEA*s, control plans*, process flow diagrams*, and validation protocols.
• Contribute to first article inspection (FAIR*) and ensure AS9102 compliance.
• Apply strict clean room protocols* and SPC* analysis (Cp/Cpk*) to critical processes.
• Participate in process optimization* for repeatability, efficiency, and defect reduction.

Specialized Process Experience
• Support development and troubleshooting of:
• Lamination (composite or adhesive-based)
