Responsibilities

Install a wide range of window treatments including blinds, shades, shutters, and custom fabrications with attention to detail and quality.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to ensure accurate placement and fit.
Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to measure, cut, assemble, and secure window treatments on-site.
Perform glass installation tasks when necessary for custom window coverings or related fixtures.
Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while maintaining proper posture and technique.
Apply caulking, trim carpentry, framing, metal stud framing, and drywall finishing as needed for seamless installations.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety standards on construction sites.
Requirements

Proven experience in construction estimating, carpentry, or remodeling projects with a focus on interior installations.
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery for precise work.
Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings related to window treatments or construction projects.
Experience with glass installation, fixture installation (such as lighting or hardware), cabinet installation, door hanging, or metal stud framing is highly desirable.
Strong background in construction site work including remodeling projects and handyman tasks.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols.
Familiarity with construction painting and finishing techniques for polished results.
Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail in trim carpentry and fabrication tasks.
Valid experience in construction estimating or schematics interpretation is a plus.
