SAP ABAP Developer_Houston, TX(Onsite)

Primary Tasks:
• Experience as an SAP ABAP Developer, with hands-on experience in ABAP programming, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Design, develop, and customize ABAP-based solutions to meet business requirements, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and optimize ABAP code following best practices, coding standards, and performance guidelines.
• Document technical designs, development activities, and system configurations to support knowledge sharing and maintainability.
• Designs, codes, tests, implements, maintains and supports applications software in ABAP.
• Strong technical proficiency in ABAP development tools and techniques.
• Having knowledge of ABAP RICEFW and ABAP.

Work Experience / Skills & Competencies:

• Min 7 years hands on ABAP programming experience including.
• Minimum 3-5 years of Implementation projects.
• Excellent working knowledge on all types of RICEFW developments including enhancement to standard SAP processes.
• Experience on interfaces development using File, RFC, IDOC, BAPI, Web services, Proxy based interfaces and database connections
• Should have worked on developments from SAP modules like FI, AP, Procurement, SNC, etc.
• Excellent understanding and ability to articulate object-oriented design patterns in ABAP
• Desired to have experience or knowledge developments on SAP HANA / S/4HANA platforms.
• ABAP Cloud experience is a plus
• Certification in SAP Application Development / object-oriented programming languages are preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP Ariba, procurement process and workflows.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Experience in at least two end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Project implementations.
