Machine Operator & Programmer: Fiber Laser

Ramcast is currently looking for a fiber laser operator for sheet metal fabrication. Laser operators will be responsible for the set-up & operation of the fiber laser machine to meet customer drawings and requirements. Must be able to organize, load correct metal and utilize programs according to the chosen cutting sequence. You will be responsible for monitoring the cutting performance and utilization to ensure parts are being cut properly.

Required Qualifications:

Fiber Laser Experience (Bystronic lasers preferred)

AutoCAD or similar CAD programming experience

Desired Qualifications:

Forklift Certification

press break experience

Responsibilities:

Load metal onto cutting table using overhead crane and/or forklift and unload cut parts.
Debur parts as required.
Ability to interpret detailed specifications on work orders
Monitoring laser machine for mechanical issues and fix minor problems or report them to supervisor
Ordering gas when needed
Basic maintenance
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
