Summer Camp instructors (URGENT)

Duties

Supervise and engage children in a variety of recreational and educational activities designed to promote learning and social skills
Lead group games, arts and crafts, sports, and other camp activities to ensure participant enjoyment and safety
Provide guidance and support to children, fostering a positive and inclusive environment
Assist with daily camp routines such as meal times, rest periods, and transitions between activities
Monitor children’s behavior and address any issues promptly and appropriately
Ensure the safety of all campers by adhering to safety protocols and supervising activities at all times
Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and other stakeholders regarding camper progress or concerns
Support the planning and execution of special events or themed activities during the camp session
Qualifications

Experience working with children through tutoring, teaching, or early childhood education programs is highly desirable
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children of diverse backgrounds
Responsible, energetic, and able to maintain a positive attitude in dynamic environments
Ability to lead activities safely while encouraging participation from all campers
Prior experience in supervising or mentoring children is preferred but not required
Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to creating an enjoyable camp experience for all participants
