Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Facilitator to support and guide learners in an educational environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning atmosphere, assisting students with diverse needs, and ensuring effective delivery of programmes. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the educational journey of children and young people, particularly those requiring specialised support.

Duties

Lead and facilitate engaging learning sessions tailored to individual needs and programme objectives
Support students through tutoring and teaching activities, ensuring understanding of subject matter
Work closely with children, including those with special educational needs, to promote confidence and participation
Develop and implement customised learning strategies in collaboration with educators and support staff
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment conducive to learning
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to students and relevant stakeholders
Assist in organising educational resources and materials for sessions
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and team members regarding student development
Qualifications

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching within an educational setting
Experience working with children, including those with special educational needs
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners
Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices and adaptations for diverse learners
Organisation skills to plan sessions and manage resources efficiently
A caring attitude with patience, empathy, and excellent interpersonal skills
Relevant qualifications or training in education or special education are desirable but not essential

Pay: £25,500.00-£34,000.00 per year
