Window Covering Design and Sales Consultant

Budget Blinds of South East Calgary is looking for an enthusiastic In Home Sales Consultant to add to our team. Salary is primarily commission with option of monthly salary will be discussed ( Base plus Commissions ). Budget Blinds has been around for 30 plus years with over 1000 franchises in North America and is the number one window covering company in North America. Last year the company sold over 2 billion dollars in window coverings and is still growing in hopes of hitting 5 Billion. There are 3 Divisions within the company; Inspired Drapes, Budget Blinds Commercial Services and Budget Blinds Residential. Products being sold are;

Cellular ( Honey Comb ) Shades
Wood and Faux Wood Blinds
Roller / Solar Shades
Exterior Roller Solar Shades
Roman Shades
Drapery Panels and Soft Treatments
Shutters
Panel Tracks
Automation / Motorization ( Smart Home Systems )
Window Faux Iron
etc.
Skills needed;

Familiar with Answering phones in a professional manner
Positive attitude towards Customer Service
Able to be solution focus when addressing challenges
Organized and efficient
Punctual and Courteous
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
Able to measure and use measuring tools ( training offered )
Shipping and receiving knowledge
Time management and Multi tasking abilities a must

Lifting a maximum of 35lbs occasionally
Background Experience;

1 Year Sales Experience
1 Year Home Design Experience
Always willing to Learn, Continuous Improvement
It will be necessary to generate your own leads, however 90% of the leads are generated for you by the company. Training and instruction will be provided, I have a great team in place and just need a few more pieces. We service the South East Calgary which has plenty of growth potential and we are growing steadily. Hours are flexible but weeknights and weekends will be required periodically, these hours will be increased based on business requirements.

Job Type: Commission with option of monthly salary. a good sales person can generate $1 million in sales. generating ( $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 ) in income per year

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and preferences for window coverings.
Conduct in-home consultations to assess spaces and recommend suitable products.
Manage the sales process from initial contact to closing, utilizing negotiation and account management skills.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using Salesforce.
Collaborate with shipping and receiving teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
Utilize Microsoft Office for reporting and communication purposes.
